Sharry's Story
Life.....
I live in Beautiful Naples Florida on the Gulf of Mexico and have for 35 years. My 2 children are grown -both of whom live here in Naples and I have 4 terriffic grand-children. I am single:just retired from working at the Physician's Regional Hospital in Naples;( formerly Cleveland Clinic). I own my own home and a red Mustang convertable - (which I LOVE!) and have 4 little chihuahuas.
School memories are wonderful and life has been very good to me. I would love to hear from oh, so many of my old friends and acquaintances from JECS. Seems as if it were so long ago, yet just a brief memory away! Life is too valuable to forget anyone who crosses our paths- especially old friends.
My career choice was to become a secretary, and I worked at that for 35 years, I worked at our local Mental Health center, then went into dentistry for 20 years as office manager, then switched to Cleveland Clinic but it was bought out by Physicians Regional Hospital, from which I retired. I was so fortunate to have loved each job I had, but MOTHERHOOD was the most rewarding! My greatest success story was (is) my children!
If you ever need a palm tree/sand/salt water get-away, Naples is the place - and don't forget to call me...Your first drink at the pier will be on me!

These are questions I answered from Classmates questionnaire.
I always wanted to be a playboy bunny when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a nuts idea. As it turns out, they were right.
I still wear jeans, jean shorts and tank tops and T's and LOVE jewelery - and yes, still have long nails and I do them myself once a week. My first crush was John Fusek, but never knew what happened to him. I met Patti Omara and we clicked when I dried the sink in the home ec room -( yes, I did it at home, and still do it after doing dishes!) I keep in touch with Patti, and she is still a very best friend to me!

e my home with my 4 chihuahuas and my boyfriend,a struggling musician ,which I find fun and hectic!.
I still wear jeans, and jean shorts, T-shirts and tank tops. I love short skirts and lots of jewelery!
If I won $100 million, I'd give some of it to start a children's home, then spend the rest on animals, family, friends and jewelery!
I hope everyone remembers me with a smile, and laughing. It has gotten me thru many rough spots in life, and I try to treat each new day as a clean piece of paper which only I have control over how I fill it in - and lets face it, laughing is sure better than crying over things that can't change. The biggest surprise is that I was married 2 times, and divorced 2 times to 2 men who 2 times me! And I never thought I would live with someone...SURPRISE!!!
Now it is Memorial Day Weeknd 2013...been doing a bit of traveling, Key West a couple times, back to New York , Orlando, and to Tupelo, Mississipp where my daughter and her husband have a second home. Still loving retirement If I can possibly do it, I would love to attend the Alumni banquet...would love to re connect with so many- I love keeping in touch with many of you thru facebook, I am simply, " sharrybee" if you want to connect thru that or yahoo. Hope God has smiled down on your life, as He has done mine..,.God Bless and keep you til we are reunited in that great schoolroom upstairs :) ...
Life continues to be good... (now it is April 2015) My brother, Bob, and his wife, Denise (Johnston), moved to Naples last July (2014) and now live near me (YEAHHH!!) and my mom is still living alone about 6 miles from Bob and me. I am truly loving retirement- I love crafts and reading - sprinkled with beach outings and shopping and traveling. Life has been good- and I am blessed with very good health. One of these days I will figure out how to post pictures from reunions our class has had - and you all can be surprised!
