Shauna's Story
Life
Well, well, well. Here I am pushing 40 years old! Yep, getting way too close to 40 for comfort!!!!!
I am pretty much loving life now though (even tho it was not always this way!) I had a rough few years, but can safely and happily say that the time of my life right now is the BEST.
I am now married (second time a charm) to the most amazing man! He is a deputy sheriff, so I am kept in line, ha. We have been married since 2000. I also have an amazing little boy that I cherish his every breath, because he shouldn't be taking any! He is now 8 and battling third grade.
I have a pretty darned awesome teenage daughter as well. She is 15 and although she is my husband's from his first marriage, I love her every bit as my own, and worry about her just as much. S...Expand for more
he has the talent, and is our artist (and a really good one at that!)
I live in beautiful St. Augustine, Florida and love it. I spend my spare time doing crafts and selling them with my mother in law at local craft fairs.
Life is good....life is REALLY good!
Workplace
I now work for a municipal grants office, and we work to help low/moderate income communities throughout Florida get grants for commercial development, housing rehab, economic development, and neighborhood revitalization. I also assist with historical preservation grants. I love it so far. It is a great learning experience.
I am still in school working on my BS in Natural Health.Not sure where that will take me, but I am loving every bit of learning more and more about natural health and healing!
