In 1989, I came out to Springfield, Missouri to live closer to my brother. In 1990, I met a really great guy and 4 months later we were married. It's now nearly 17 years later, and we are still very happy.
I have a step son, who is 21. My oldest daughter is 18 and getting ready to go to MSU on a full scholarship. My other daughter is 16. My son is 14.
I never planned on staying in MO permantly, but I am home now. My life revolves around my husband and my kid...Expand for more
s. I love it and I wouldn't have it any other way. I take my kids to a lot of concerts. Godsmack, Three Days Grace, Staind...to name a few. My kids love the same music as I do, and going to the shows keeps me young...or makes me feel old. Either way, I love going and watching my kids have fun.
I miss the Seattle area a lot. Especially seeing Mt. Rainier everyday. But I doubt that I will ever go back. All of my family is here now. If I ever have a chance to visit Seattle, I would go in a minute. I would love for my family to see where I grew up.
