Shawna's Story
Let's see....
I went to MANY schools unfortunately, only because those of you I was really close with, I had lost contact with. I lived with my Dad in Martinez until I was 12. So I had went to Elementary schools as follows, Mills Elementary 82-84, Valhalla Elementary 84-87, Valley View Middle School 87-89
I then moved in with my Mother, and Stepfather in Concord, there I attended these schools, and met my BEST FRIEND Mary (Bostdorff) Tennis. El Dorado Middle School 89-90. Concord High 91-92.
As times got tough, and the economy went down, I got a job at 14 at Popeye's Chicken, in the Park n' Shop Mall. I worked with Mary. She moved in with me our freshman summer.
Things got worse my sophomore year. My stepfather wasn't bringing in much money, my Mom got laid off, and was forced to work two jobs. So, we moved to Antioch! Which about killed me! I had to leave my life behind!
So at Antioch I went to Antioch High 93-94. That's where I met my other BEST FRIEND Amy (Schneider) Gomez. We have been friends ever since. We don't see each o...Expand for more
ther as much as we'd like but we are still close. I graduated on the honor roll.
I met an older man, MUCH, MUCH older man 17yrs older than myself. I hung out with him and my family whom raced at Antioch Speedway. Before I knew it, I was 17 and pregnant with my first daughter.
We were married 10 days before I had her LOL! Got the mental picture yet!! LOL!! Had her in 95
We then had my second and last daughter when I was 22. Had her in 98.
By 2004 I became a single-divorced Mother of two gorgeous, bright, fun loving little girls!
I am still very good friends with my ex. He is a part of my girls life. He has them every other weekend, and sometimes during the week.
I was a stay at home Mom for almost 10yrs. So I had to do something about work. I took a course as a Medical Assistant. I now work at an Eye Clinic.
So alls well that ends well. My life is going good. I've got two healthy, beautiful girls. I'm very much involved in their Softball activities. They both played awesome seasons.
