Life I lost my husband Feb 2009 to complications of cancer. We have four grown children oldest and youngest are girls two middle boys. The oldest & youngest daughter & youngest son live in Az. The oldest son still lives in Carpentersville, Il. with his wife and youngest son. We have 14 grandchildren & 4 great grand children. In 1958 we started out in Arlington, Va then on to Rochester, NY in "61" and then moved to Carpentersville, Il in 1963 . Knowing we probably would retire in Arizona one day we moved to Glendale Az in 1984 and stayed there until our last move to Sun City West, Az in Dec. of 1999 and we love it ! In the past I had enjoyed playing golf. However spinal surgery and rotator cuff surgery have kept me from playing the past few years . I will try my hand at it again one of these days I still remain as a social member of the golf league & enjoy being on several of their committee's. Sun City West is a Del Webb retirement community established in 1976 it's about 15 mi. northwest of Phoenix... We have 4 recreation centers, 9 beautiful golf courses, 1 private 1 public & the other 7 for members & guest. Each rec. center has at least one pool & jacuzzi , most have 2 indoor & out door, olympic & play ..tennis , bowling, bocci, shuffleboard, walking & running tracks, indoor & outdoor , you name it we got it!!!
