Sheila's Story
I love being a mom to my two sons and love being a grandmother to my 3 beautiful grandchildren. God has been good to me, and I am blessed. Life hasn't always been good, sometimes I have suffered heartache due to my poor choices in life. God still holds my hand and helps me through my self created mess. Sometimes I suffer because of actions of those I love. God still holds my hand and helps me through it. I am active in my church and teach small groups. I write some and am published author. I counsel people and am not ashamed for the world to know how important God is to me. When I retire, I want to be more actively involved in helping others. If you ask me to pray for you, I will, and I am not ashamed to pray for you on the street or in the middle of Wal Mart. Whatever, God directs, I do. So if you aren't serious, don't ask. My goal is to be a vessel God can work through to reach a hurting world. I have made alot of mistakes, but I keep trying. Thanks to God's love and mercy my mistakes are forgiven. I am justified because of Christ's actions, not mine. Therefore, God sees me as a princess, as His daughter, and to Him I am forgiven and precious. If you are readin...Expand for more
g this, I hope you have a personal relationship with Jesus. If you don't I pray God will lay you on my heart, so I can pray for you. The greatest choice you can ever make is to accept Jesus as your Lord. Becoming a child of God is not about what you give up, but what you receive. When you fall in love with Jesus, you become a new creature in Him and all of the old stuff passes away. You will find the emptiness you always had that all of the sin and stuff never could satisfy, is now satisfied and you finally know who you are and where you belong. Remember, even if you knew God and drifted away, He still loves you and you are the only one that moved. When you turn to run back to Him and hope He will forgive you, you will discover that He is still right there and He never left you. You are made righteous through Jesus and He sees you through Jesus. You are His child and He will never stop loving you. No matter what you do. Read John 3:16 and be reminded of how much God loves you, that He let Jesus die on a cross so you could be saved and have eternal life with Jesus. Remember Jesus had a choice to make and He chose to die for you than to live without you. Be blessed!
