Sheila's Story
Life
Life is good. This must be what they call second childhood. It's a good thing because I was too serious in my first one. I've learned to lighten up (a little) in my old age. Still married to the same guy I met at Akron U. in 1982 (married 1988) and we've come a long way since then. I feel like all that hard work has paid off. I enjoy my career but I'm starting to fantasize about retirement and I hope to stay healthy enough to enjoy that when the time comes. There's a different reason for keeping in shape when you are 40 something than when you were 20...Expand for more
something. It's not about buns of steel anymore, it's about "bone density" now. Maybe I'm still too serious but I've resolved to live longer than my father did (Mom is still alive) Speaking of being way to serious, my husband and I were so busy we just never had any children. I guess it's a little late now and someone else is always there to take up the slack. I'd love to see pictures of the families you all have now, some of your children are probably graduating from high school. Don't be afraid to drop a line and see if I remember you...I probably will!
