Shelia's Story
Life
At 38 years old I have a great career as a Mortgage Loan Consultant and I am also a DJ in the area. It keeps me very busy but I find time to relax and have fun. I have a great husband and some wonderful friends that keep me on my toes! We are definately party people.
School
Oh well what can I say about high school. Not the best time of my life. But there were some good times. I would have to say that I made some mistakes and was too scared to take chances back then. Things were different, I was the ugly red head and he was Mr. Popular - Mr. hottie - wow. The things we go through in school. I would do it all over again if I could. I would change alot of things. I never went to my prom - I regret that. Maybe that's why I like to get dressed up and wear pretty dresses I don't know. I never told a soul about who I liked. I never got to say goodbye to a guy who was killed in a car crash - who I loved dearly and had been friends with from middle school into high school. I missed parties and football ...Expand for more
games and alot of things. My parents were very strict I wasn't allowed to do alot of things. I wish I had hung onto all my memorabilia from school -hell I don't even have my yearbooks anymore - my mom lost them or something. I use to come back home every 3 months and at night i would go over to the school and just look at it and remember some of the great times I had and the good friends I had. It's funny how we all couldn't wait to grow up but now sometimes we all yearn to be young again.
Workplace
I started working at a young age 15 - I was a waitress in a little restaraunt near my house. I use to work at the ball stadium making cotton candy. LOL! Was a fun job - met a few ball players back in the day when they were nobodies. The funny thing is the older I got the more I kept coming back to that job every season - it was a fun job. Now I work a full time job as a loan officer and I am a part time DJ/KJ. That is a really fun job - but you must be careful not to have tooo much alcohol while doing it. LOL!
