Life Where do I start, after high school I attended Winona State and discovered the party scene there. I have to admit it was ALOT of fun being on my own after leaving my parents strict rules. But it was a little too fun and had to move back home my sophomore year. I finished up my degree in Community College. While working at Target in Shoreview I met my now husband Jeff. We dated for 2 years and were engaged for two years before getting married in 1995. We moved to Vadnais Heights for our first starter house and two 'upgraded' jobs to afford it. My clock started to tick, and I wanted a back yard before any children came along. So we packed up and moved into a house we built in Blaine. One month later we found out Ali was coming. She was born in September of 1997, at the end of a VERY hot summer. At that point I was doing medical insurance billing and hating my job. After long consideration, I quit my job and started a home daycare. That worked real well for a year in our two bedroom split, until Matt decided to come along a little earlier than expected. So we packed up again and moved to Coon Rapids by Riverdale (before Riverdale was there!) Matt was born in February of 1999 and we moved in when he was two weeks old. Some of my fondest memories were in that house. We lived in a cul-de-sac with 8 other families. We all got along so well that we even vacationed together.
