Shelly's Story
Life
I graduated from UT Austin in '97 and started working for Texas Parks and Wildlife doing wildlife conservation (always the environmentalist!). I have worked here since then except for the 4 month long sea turtle conservation field job I did on a deserted beach in Mexico in 1998. be done with school! Whoever said working full time and going to school was a good idea was a bit mad.
So, basically life's good! It's nice to have a good home base to travel from---I tend to get claustrophobic if I stay in town for too long! Luckily I've found a wonderful partner to travel the world with and friends who either join us or put us up for a few nights when we go abroad. Hope you are all well and that I hear from some of you soon.
