Life I left Red Wing, MN to pursue field-based environmental, economic, and aesthetic studies at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA. I graduated with a B.A. in 1999 after completing forest canopy research, teaching scenic design/curb-side art workshops, and founding an HIV/AIDS educational/outreach program. I returned to MN to teach a self-esteem program to school-agers and work as a winter ecologist. I moved back to WA at the end of that year. I hike/swim daily and would rather walk to the next town than drive to it. I am nearly recovered from a car wreck that paused two years of my life...anxious to explore. I've shown work in a local gallery and sell pieces by word. I ditched Birkenstock sandals/eyebrow ring for suits to work double-time as a Group Sales Manager for The Bon Marche (a NW Macy's) in Bellingham, WA.
