"What haven't I done?" would probably be a better question. I think I was voted Most Likely to NOT Succeed. Hah! I showed you all! Especially Mr. Mann, but I won't start bragging 'til I finish my novel and make it to the bestseller's list.
I have been teaching for about 15 years. English, ESL, Art and other subjects too. Before that, I had many jobs to get me through school, but my favorite was working for the school newspaper at the University of New Orleans. learned a lot from some very unusual people. My classes were pretty good too, but sometimes the students are willing to share more than the professors.
I've been subbing while I get my MFA and finish my novel. I do art though I never stick to a medium long enough to get really good at it. Maybe someday, I'll find the medium that is right for me.
Oh, I've also lived in a few places: Rochester, New Orleans, Los Angeles and San Diego. I tried to move to Europe and looked at buildings for sale in Rio. I would love to move to San Francisco, but I have to convince my husband first.
