School
While attending G'Town I didnt feel like I was part of the "in crowd" but I also didnt feel like I was out in left field. My only regret was that maybe I didnt touch as many peoples lives (in a positive way) as I should have and that if along the way I hurt someones feelings that I was forgiven.
College
I worked in Memphis while attending night school at Memphis State Univ. for about a yr. where I was a "Little Sister" for a fraternity. Never joined a sorority though. Then transfered to Univ. Of Tenn. at Martin for about 1 and 1/2 yrs. studying Special Education. Met and dated the man of my dreams, so I thoug...Expand for more
ht, later found that was not the case. Made some very good friends though. I didnt graduate, which I now regret. My family moved to Texas where I came to visit and liked it, so I stayed.
Workplace
My long term employment was with Southwest Airlines and was there for 18 1/2 yrs. until I was forced to retire due to a reduction of work force in our department. I then took a job in 2004 with Gaylord Hotel Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine Texas as a Supervisor in their CID Dept.
I boomeranged back to Southwest Airlines in 2006 until I retired Aug. 2020 giving me a total of 32 years. It’s where I belonged.
