Shirley's Story

Not much is different from when I graduated. I still belong to The Salvation Army. Still doing work there. I am married to Brian Hobson. He also belongs to The Salvation Army. He participates more than I do. My disabilities make if hard for me to do things. I volunteer in the office on occasion. Most of the time I have to prop my feet up. I ...Expand for more
am diabetic, with edema and cellulitis in both legs. I have to be very careful not to get sores(boo boos) on my legs. I just spent 2 1/2 weeks in the hospital and I don't want to do that again. Brian and I have 12 grandchildren and for the most part, they all go to church and are on the honor roll in school. We are very proud of all of them.
