Shirley's Story
Life
After graduation from Iota High, I attended Victoria College for a year. I married in 1963 and attended Texas A&M. While getting my degree I had a beautiful daughter named Cheri. She is now 37. My son, Tyler is 26. They live in Katy. My second daughter, Kari lives and works back home in Calhoun County as a realtor.

ttle island called Caye Caulker. They have the most fantastic snorkeling in the world, and the sweetest people.
I'm hoping to take my two grandsons there this summer for a two week stay.
Right now I am teaching Special Education at Round Top-Carmine High School in Carmine, Texas. Its a little community between Houston and Austin. I'm still active in the theatre as a director. Life is good and I have been blessed.
I am excited about our class reunion in Iota. I know it will be fun. I hope to see my old classmates from Port Lavaca when the next reunion is called.
