Shirley's Story
Life
Still doing the military thing. I signed into the Reserves in April 2007. My husband is still on active duty at Fort Gordon. Our five kids are doing great.
Military
I was in B Co 304th Sig in Korea. After arriving at Ft. Carson, I was placed in B Co 4th FSB and then moved to C Co 704th MSB. It was while stationed there that I married PFC Robert Murphy. ery. The next year, My son and I were on our own. I got out of the regular Army in 1999. I received my AA in Dec 2000 and have completed another year of college during which time I served about a year in the Kentucky National Guard. Now, I have married again to SFC Robert L. Armstrong, Jr. We completed his tour at Fort Hood and a recruiting assignment in Cullman County, Alabama. We are now stationed at Ft. Riley. As of April 23, 2007, I am now SGT Armstrong in the Reserves.
