Shonta's Story
i moved around alot when i was young, i like to refer to it as bi-costal. My happiest times though would have been in Cheney, where i spent the better part of my childhood. My mother died when i was twelve and i moved to St.Louis(where i become a Goldbug)lol. I was the lesser known of the Easterwood clan, because i was much shyer than my sisters or cousins. I ended up finding my own personality my last year of high school. I moved back to washington after a brief stint at college. I finally settled in Texas when i was twenty five. I have a little boy and i am currently single. My hobbies are playing pool and singing.(good thing i dont get paid to do it.) I am currently an locomotive engineer(which is kinda funny that a company trusts me with millons of dollars worth of frieght) and besides my son, i believe it is my greatest acheivement.(and i bet he would agree...lol) I hope my friends would remember me as a "Dreamer"
I always wanted to be a singer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a crazy idea. As it turns out, they were right. (good thing, i did not give up my day job)
my favorite shows have to do with home improvement. I also love grey's. Some of the biggest surprises i found out as i entered the adult world was it really does take money to live.(I am still trying to cope with that one) Life isnt always forgiven, and...Expand for more
whether you like it or not you eventually become your parents.
I have learned from being a parent, that kids grow up so quickly and everything you do whether negitive or postive effects your child.
I had two favorite teachers, i would love to see now. My fourth grade teacher Ms. Ashton, because she made me believe anything was possible. My eigth grade teacher Ms. Caulley because she taught me how to be a lady.
My current age is 39. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be dead. I was so completely wrong.
My best friend would tell you I'm sweet, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as insane. If i had one do over, i would hold my loved ones a little longer and listion a little better.
In 10 years, I hope to be retired. I'm going to get there by praying.
my oldest friend is still my oldest friend. I think the reason we are still friends is because we always understood each other
My fondest memories were at campus elementary school.(later Robert Ried) I loved playing soak-um, and smear the queer. (and I rocked at it) It was a great place to be a child and memories of that small town i will take with me whereever i go. "Sending a shout out to all yall from CHENEY!" I love life, and my motto is make the best of it while you are here, cause tommorrow is not promised, and before you know it, its over.....
