Sigrid's Story
Well, I went by "Sarah" when I was a kid, and I was most likely remembered as shy, emotionally sensitive, just a little on the dorky side and that once I get laughing, I can't stop! I moved out of Corbett in 7th grade and ended up graduating from high school in Alaska. I moved around a lot for many years with my then-husband and have now settled back down just a few miles from Corbett, in Fairview, and work in downtown Portland. past year and am very happy in life with my boyfriend Gilbert. My parents live in Salem and my brother Daniel is in Hillsboro. I adopted the nickname "Ziggy" in high school and have gone by that ever since, but I still respond to Sarah by old friends and acquaintances. I have a lot of wonderful memories of Corbett and every once in awhile Gilbert & I drive through on the way to the falls and look up the hill at my old house on Hurlburt Road. I was a very happy child, had a string of rough years in my late teens and 20's, but now I'm a happy adult!
