Ok, you want to know who inpired me the most? Mr. Stanley Carlson inspired me the most, I pursued music as a career. If I could do it all over again? Yes! Of course, there are a few things I would have done differently, more specifically people I would have treated much differently. I remember Inga and Joanne and how crazy that group was. I remember how crazy we were. Oh, the love triangles in my group of friends. Its pretty funny to think about now. My biggest crush? Jessie Killian, my first love. I also had tiny crushes on a few other boys who did not travel in my circle of friends. They will remain nameless and never knew and/or know who they are. Well they might remember:) I remember skipping school to go out to the park with my friends spring semester of senior year. I got 6 hours of detention (thanks to my dad) and didn't get to letter in choir :( It was fun though!

Singing with the Opera company has always been a highlight. All those thousands of performances I was in. All the millions of concerts I had to attend:( It was definetly tough but if I can get through that, I can do anything, and I have done a lot. My senior recital was the c...Expand for more
limax of it all. 5 years of hard work all rolled into an hour concert by myself. I think I am still too close to it to really see the whole picture. Singing at graduation with the dome full of people was a great reward for me. I really felt like it had paid off. At the beginning of my college career, I would never have been able to do that. I came a long way and I am proud of myself. As far as social life? I didn't have one. I spent all my waking hours studying and practicing. I had only a few friends and they were also music majors. The only friends you can have in that situation. Not too many people understand why you are so driven and occupied. I did manage to meet my husband on the set of an opera production. He and my few other friends became my only social life. It has all been totally worth it. Now things are very laid back and life is lovely! I have so many memories of my college world. The concert tours we took through the states and canada were, we'll just say, lively. Great times!
My best friends in the whole world: Dlorah Puckett and Dawn Shacklock, also miltary wives. They were always there for me! Lots of support, inspiration and of course our christianity:) I am so glad Dlorah has been stationed in Guam with me!!!!!!!! Yeah ! We had lots of fun and great conversations. I love deep conversations and friends to have them with. Lots of coffee and PERET PIE! Can you believe we were able to eat a whole piece each? Those were the days.
