Stacey's Story
Life
02/23/2015: I hate CM; if it's important, call Jen. After a while, you get tired of re-reading the fiasco grandiose fantasies you thought your life was or was headed toward. I did not realize that I had not updated this since 2009. I have 4 wonderful children, dogs, cats, goats, an insatiable lack of reality :) and fibromyalgia. :) By the way, I don't "do" this thing; I facebook. I'm not a "member" here, so leaving me messages will do no good. As always, I'm an avid Ultra Conservative Southern Baptist Christian Republican Totalitarian: there's no such thing as an ethical compromise to the principles of integrity and truth. God speed.
School
05/07/2009: Attended college working toward a degree in Public Safety Administration / Project Management. Currently, momentarily, on hold pending stability of my illness.
Completed (Passed) my EMT-A cert in 1994 (state & national - expired in 1996). Acquired my Wildland Firefighting certification in 1994 (exp 1998). Hazardous Materials First Resp...Expand for more
onder (1994). Ops & Investigations courses amongst other Fire Science. Completed current certification for Wildland Fire Fighting and Incident Command Systems (2011).
Construction, Architecture, Business Leadership, various Environment and History courses since then.
As for high school: 'Shouldn't've taken the "crisis" so seriously. 'Should've been more attentive 2 the subjects & people that really mattered. 'Should've spoken more of my mind toward those who needed it; and treated Sgt Anderson better in spite of our drastic personality clash. 'Should've followed thru w/ the military agenda.
Workplace
'Due 2 the early start on family, work was required & the rule has been: "Do what it takes (ethically) 2 keep a roof over your kids' heads. Me last." The majority is office-type; my preference outdoors: construction, wildland FF, landscaping (my own ideas), working with horses, etc. Goals have changed; still trying 2 keep a grip on what I want 2 do. 'Just keep treadin' & be ready. Confidently.
