Stacy's Story
Wow, how time flies!
After graduating from CHS, I went to Seward Co. Comm College in Liberal, KS. Played some basketball, blew a knee and met a few nice people.
Then I headed to K-State for 3 years and graduated with a teaching degree. I got a job in Haviland Kansas at the grade/jr. high as a math teacher of all things!! And of course coaching - but not the sport I knew how to play, of all things they had me be the head coach of the volleyball team! Wow did I have a lot to learn AND in a hurry! I also coached basketball in the jr high and was an assistant in track - another funny thing, I tried to teach the weight events of shot and discus! They had such faith in me - or I had sucker written all over my first year teachers face! lol

g to be a vet, Jaden 17 a senior at CHS, possibly heading to KSU - wants to continue farming or be an industrial arts teacher, and Camryn 5 is in pre-school she is a live wire and of course is our surprise child. I went back to coaching and teaching in 1992 at Cheney Middle School and coached the CHS volleyball team for 17 years.
I now am the owner of a photographer studio in Cheney called Main Street Photo, so I am no longer teaching or coaching.
I am very busy at the studio it is a lot of fun, meeting a bunch of nice people and learning on the go! I also still enjoy farming with the family. There is still nothing like being in the outdoors and working hard!
I still enjoy riding although I don't get enough time to do it.
Live is good and we have been blessed as a family and individuals.
