Stacy's Story
Alan and I moved to Arizona in 1983. We love Arizona and everything it has to offer. My husband is a machinist and I was a stay at home mom until most of my kids grew up. I had 4 children. My son Dusty was born in 1978 and Misty in 1980, in Torrance, California. We moved to Arizona and Crystal was born in 1983 and 9 years later we had a bonus baby, Wesley. So I have two boys and two girls.
Dusty married Tia and joined the army where he made sergeant and went to Afghanistan and Iraq. He had a baby girl in 2003. I was at her birth in Watertown, New York. It was a very special experience. After Dusty¿s four years were up in the army, he came home to Arizona safe and sound and was accidentally killed in a motorcycle accident. He died instantly. It was such a horrible experience for all of us. Dusty left behind his wonderful wife, Tia and his vibrant daughter, Kylee. We see each other at least once a week. They still live nearby in Queen Creek.

lifornia. She is engaged to Brian and going to school to be a nurse. She currently works in the hospital emergency room while attending collage.
Crystal has her BA in English. She works at the local high school. The one she used to attend. Teachers still mistake her for a student. She is planning to go to Japan to teach English for a few years.
My little caboose, Wesley turns 16 in December 2008. He attends Mountain View High School on what we call a boundary acceptance. He did not want to go to the local high school where his sister works. I wonder why??? His is such a great kid, very obedient and sweet. He plans on going into the Navy and also wants to be a doctor (anesthesiologist.)
As you can tell, my family is very important to me. I went back to college after raising my children and earned my Elementary Education degree. I am currently a special education teacher in the Gilbert Public Schools District. I love teaching, but I hated school as a child. Go figure¿
