Stacy's Story
Life
Yep - still here in Columbia - I seemed to do everything I could to get away, but somehow this town kept pulling me back! After BC, and a brief stint as a paralegal, I returned to Columbia to obtain my JD/MIBS (law & MBA - International). I was able to return to Brazil for my internship, and then after passing the Bar (thank goodness!!), I continued working for a small firm here in town -- now,...Expand for more
here I am 7 years later, still at the same firm, but as a partner. I practice primarily in the area of social security disability, and love what I do.
Other than work, I'm out and about - have responsibility for an amazing Rottweiler, Duncan, and one very large pound cat, Al -- my family is still close by, and I have the joy of being able to spend a lot of time with them as well as my close friends.
