Stan's Story
Life
My life? Not much has changed in the past 15-20 years. Still working in radio - apparently I've gotten good at fixing stuff around radio stations - I'm staying busier than I've ever been with work. My wife Sheila and I will be celebrating our 21st anniversary in August, 2007 - we must be doing something right! :-)
We have 2 boys... my oldest is a sophomore at Copiah-Lincoln Community College. Geez... time sure has flown by! My youngest son is a senior at Richland High School. Both of them are star baseball players... they inherited their mom's athletic ability, 'cause I never had any!

One of my biggest regrets is not finishing college. It took a lot longer to get where I am now.
Workplace
Hmmmmmmm... how does someone go from auto repair to broadcasting? I haven't totally figured it out, but somehow I went from working as an auto mechanic to chief engineer of central Mississippi's major news/talk AM station - WJNT - for the past 14 years. I also have my own broadcast engineering business... if it's a radio station in central Mississippi, I've probably worked on it at one time or another. Being on-call 24/7 can be a pain sometimes, but I love the type of work that I do.
