Stan's Story
Life up date.
I have about 7 months left before I can retire from the Orange County Fire Department hear in Florida. This is a young persons sport any more and at 55 I am not a spring chicken any longer. My thoughts of moving from florida to New york have changed. I am staying in Florida. They say you can never go back home, that saying is so true. Long Island has grown into something I don't recognize or remember. Taxes are crazy and the politics even crazyer. I just got back from the island, fun to visit but was happy to feel...Expand for more
the warmth of Orlando both physicly and emotionaly. I look forward to my retirement my new friends that seem to appear each day on F.B. and some new adventures and new directions in life.
If any one is thinking of moving to Florida Check out the Villages in Ocala Florida. Its a great retirement community with more stuff to do then you can imagine. One day I might even move there.
