Stephanie's Story
I always wanted to be a doctor when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, I did not become a doctcor but maybe the next best thing, a Registered Nurse.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have gum and a Vitamin Water to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
My heroes are my grandparents and my cousin Eddie. They were the most selfless people that I have ever met. Unfortunately they are no longer on this earth with us but memories of them live on.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Chris Creamer, because he was one of the most colorful people that I've ever met and his memory will also live on forever.
My Jr. High, High School and College friends have been the best. But when you think something is going to last forever, life surprises you. A good example of this are the friendships I had throughout those years. My biggest regret is loing touch with these people. It's a shame. Recently, I have managed to reconnect w/ a few old friends which has been awesome and I hope to do more of that.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my bathroom and add on a jacuzzi. My dream home would be somewhere warm and have a lot of rooms to put all of my stuff in, lol.. If you think I'm kidding, I'm not. I have too much stuff that I've almost outgrown.
The teacher that I would love to see again is Mr. Razza. He was the most dedicated teacher that I have ever met....Expand for more
His hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed. He gave me the inspiration to pursue a profession in the medical field and for that I thank him.
If I won $100 million, I'd give half of it to my family, then spend the rest on what else...a new home, a new car and a new boat.
I lived in a dorm for two years. Those were probably two of the most memorable years of my life. I met so many diverse people. I had a lot of fun, especially my second year. Sometimes I wish those days could have lasted longer.
In order to be truly happy...I would have to be doing what I am doing right now. My life could not be better. I am doing what I want and enjoying it. It makes me feel good to take care of others...I guess that's the nurse in me.
My current age is 32. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now were too old and so out of touch. I was so completely wrong.
My sister would tell you I'm friendly, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as quiet at first and slow to warm up.
I guess you can call me a Jack of All Trades (and Master of None). I worked in a little bread store while in high school. While in college I was a shift manager for a Video chain store. After that I got my Cosmetology license and worked as a hairsresser. I also used to work with wigs and hairpieces and those types of clients. Then I became a police dispatcher for 8 years. Finally, I am where I want to be and I am an R.N.
