Stephanie's Story
Life
I am happily married and have 2 sons and another child on the way. I used to teach agriculture a.k.a. shop to middle school students, but currently I enjoy being a stay at home mom. Since I do not have enough kids of my own, I babysit twice a week. Just recently I began a job working for my church from home as their communications manager. I would tell you what I do, but I am still learning that myself.
So how did I get to this spot in life? I went straight to Va Tech after high school hoping to be a Vet. It didn't take long to realize I was not smart enough for that, so I switched to Agricultural Economics. That was a better fit for me. , MS. We dated in college, went our seperate ways, and once I was out of college and working our paths crossed again. We began dating again and realized we were the only people who could put up with each other and got married.
My husband and I restored a 230 yr old farm house. Most folks say it is beautiful, but before we began everyone told us to give the kids from school a 6 pack and lighter and tell them to figure out the rest. It is a great location to raise our children. We are just minutes from our small town, but live on a large farm where the boys can ride their bikes, fish, hunt, swim, and do all those things that boys love to do.
Most days I would say life is good and God has certainly blessed my family.
