Stephen's Story
Life
I am living, working and playing in Princeton, NJ. I went to Dartmouth and then to Washington U. Med. School in St. Louis. I have been here in this great NJ town since 1966.
I am still a full time practicing MD specializing in Ear, Nose and Throat surgery.
My wife, Maxine who graduated from West Side High in Newark, went to BU and then Columbia, and got an MSW from U of Cal.(Berkeley) She is a family therapist and works about 15 to 20 hours a week.
Our three sons are as follows:
George. age 39. Ph.D. in molecular biology, is married, lives in NYC and works as a bio-tech analyst for an investment bank. His wife of 2 1/2 years has an advanced degree in library science and is a noted authority on internet publishing. Rabbi FRED DWORKIN performed their wedding ceremony in NYC.
Jacob age 37. Went to Yale. He is a founding partner of Cambridge Computer Services in the Boston area. Very successful business specializing in memory, storage and backup systems.
Sam age 35. Went to Oberlin. Works for Jacob! Married 3 1/2 years ago.
None of the boys has children yet, though my wife and I are hopeful of being grandparents some day.

nity projects.
she and I play a lot of bridge, on a social level either as individuals and/or as a couple.
I was a an age group squash player with a national ranking. I even won a silver medal at the Maccabeah Games in Israel in 1985. Shortly after that, I had to stop playing when my hip got arthritic.
This past October, I had a hip replacement which seems to have been very successful, but I think I'll stay happy just being an almost "decent" golfer.
You might remember me as a trombone player in high school. Well, I'm still going strong! For the last 15 years, I've been playing the -bone in the Witherspoon Traveling Medicine Show, a Dixieland Band made up primarily of doctors and healthcare givers from the Medical Center at Princeton (which, if you haven't guessed, is on Witherspoon St.) We rehearse every every two weeks, and perform in public- usually charitable functions about once a month!
I stay close with my sister, JUDY (FARMER) MILLER, HHS '48 who splits her time between Delray Beach, FL and Allentown, PA.
Happily, despite our advancing age, all our families are prosperous enough and enjoy good health and sound minds. I wish the same to all our friends and classmates.
