Stephen's Story
Went into the Air Force shortly after high school. Started my career in Southeast Asia, finished in Southwest Asia, and everywhere else in-between. Been around the world three times and talked to everyone twice. Met my wife in Germany, got married in Switzerland. Picked up a degree or two along the way - didn't seem to make me any smarter. f Homeland Security. Bought a small ranch in Iowa, which I promptly filled with horses and alpacas. Retired from DHS, then took a position with the State of Iowa. Got rid of horses and alpacas. Retired again . . . for now. I enjoy flying, competitive shooting, hiking, fishing, stand-up paddleboard, reading, and movies. As my lovely sister noted elsewhere on this site, life is indeed great.
