Stephen's Story

Divorced; 3 children, all in different parts of the country; 6 grandkids BS in chem from Caltech, PhD in inorganic chem from UCLA, Postgrad at Los Alamos Scientific Lab in NM. Taught at UCLA and at Washington Univ, St Louis. Worked in industry for Rohm & Haas in Philadelphia, eventually in a new biomed/diagnostics division; then for a diagnostics division of Warner-Lambert in Dallas, TX. t Cetus (now part of Chiron) in Emeryville (near SF), CA, then to a biomed/biotech company now called BioReliance in Rockville, MD. Semi-retired to a small diagnostics company in Portland, OR, then spent the rest of my career in admin with NW universities (Oregon Health & Science, Univ Washington/Seattle), specifically in patents & licensing, and as a biomed consultant. Now RETIRED in the Portland, OR area.
