Stephen's Story
Most people identify me as a runner and I guess that is what I'll be remembered for. I bounced around colleges so I could continue to run, Westmar, Rochester Community College and University of Wisconsin at La Crosse. Finished with BS in PE and Coaching and had some success with running at college. Hooked up with a NIKE sponsored running club and travelled throughout the US. Worked at various running stores and moved several times feeding the monster. Also ran for Asics, Avia..did wear testing for New Balance and Brooks. When that time was up...got married and joined the military to work on my Master's. Again my nomad life took over and moved to South Carolina, the Netherlands, and ended up in Minnesota. red. I'm now working at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with the Army ROTC program as a Human Resource Technician. Still trying to sell my house in the Twin Cities, but I'll probably end up renting it out until the market gets better. I love to travel and go to Europe a couple times a year to visit friends. I also have adopted 5 children in the SOS Kinderhoff in Sarajevo, as I didn't have any children from my marriage. I also stop by there for a couple of days when I go back to Europe. Expanding my travel sites and will go to China the end of September or so to start on that part of the world. I just started back into motorcycles and have 6 old Hondas that I'm working on. They are all at various states of disarray, but I do love going to the track and racing them(or just driving them). Will continue later.
