Time to update the story. I recently decided to add Grandville to my communities. I attended Grandville until the second semester of 8th grade. That was when I transferred to Zeeland. I had a lot of great friends that I grew up with Grandville. After making the transfer to Zeeland I hardly saw any of them again. I'm kind of hoping to maybe contact a few again through this site. It will be interesting to see. I Dropped out of School in the second Semester of my Junior year to work full time. My mother was Disabled most my life and my parents spent every extra dime to chase any new so called cure to Arthritis. As it was they never found one, and my mother died in September 2007 without walking in over 35 years. After I left School I worked with my dad for 4 years. Working with him brought us very close and I am so glad for that. We hunted and fished and worked together. If you love your dad, what more could you ask for? He died in August of 2000 and I still feel like it was yesterday. Anyway, after leaving school I went to Allendale community ed to finish. I graduated from there in 1984. I went out over the road truck driving for a few years (Mostly New York city) and did that until 1999. I wont go through the reasons for my leaving that. It was not intended, But it did change my life a lot. I created 3 kids during that time. 1 girl. who is now grown, Married and they have 3 boys and I also have twin boys that live near Kalamazoo.
