Stephen's Story
The past 52 years of my life have been spent living in Illinois (Arlington Heights, a NW suburb of Chicago). I retired in 1994 after 38 years in education. I served as a biology teacher, a high school principal and a superintendent of schools. My entire career was at the high school level. I had the privilege of starting my high school teaching in Lincoln Park for 8 years; and I ended my formal career as the superintendent of a large six high school district in Illinois. After retiring in 1994, I did educational consultant work and served as Interim Superintendent over 5 years in 5 different Illinois school districts.

most of whom live in Chicago and suburbs. We also have 6 great grandchildren. Beverly was a realtor for 25 years and served in several managerial positions during her career. We actually have 3 homes which we share with our family throughout the year. Two are vacation homes, one in Galena, Illinois and one in the Phoenix suburbs.
I spend most of my retirement time playing golf and attending the athletic events of my grandchildren. My sons and most of my grand children are college graduates and are doing well in their lives. We are very proud of them.
Let me hear from you sometime soon. I would enjoy knowing how you have spent your life since our graduation on the football field of LPHS!
