Steve's Story
As the song says, "It's been a long and winding road"... overall, though, life has been good!
Since high school I've lived in Arcata CA, Anaheim, San Luis Obispo CA, Salem OR, and now 20 years in Portland OR. Attended two community colleges and three universities; received my Bachelors degree in 1997 from Portland State University, one month shy of turning 40th. Been married for 28 years, have a 26-yr old son and a 21-yr old daughter, no grandkids yet though.
I still love the outdoors - camping, hiking, backpacking, cycling, white-water rafting and kayaking - its why I moved to Oregon!!!
Age and injuries have cut out playing sports, although I still enjoy refereeing basketball and umpiring softball - if you have kids or grandkids in sports, take it easy on the officials! It's much easier being a spectator than the one calling the game!!
