Steven R. Deviese, MBA, CPA
I am a long-time resident of Apopka and have been serving the community since 1974. I am a Vietnam veteran and have a Master of Science of Management with a concentration in accounting and and a M.B.A. with a concentration in finance. I was abd with a Phd in Finance from the University of Central Florida. I lived in Japan for four years, China for two years, and Vietnam for a year. My hobbies include computers, tae kwon do, bridge, and softball. My wife of 43 years, Lorene, and I have three children, Pam, Ben, and David.

e Chamber Ambassadors and member of the chamber Board of Directors, member of the Economic Development Council and on the committee to bring a YMCA to Apopka. I was the Apopka Chamber of Commerce Businessman of the year for 2000 and am a life member of ApopkaâÂÂs VFW Post. I have served on the Board of Community Health Centers for 10 years, was treasurer for the Apopka Rotary Club and the Apopka Foliage Sertoma Club, is active in Orange Lodge #36 where he is a Past Master. Since 2006, I have been the chairman of the Apopka Christmas Parade. I speak regularly on taxation at civic functions and am a past adjunct professor at Valencia Community College and Florida Southern College.
