Hi to every cougar indivually or collectly A special shout out to all the classes from 1970-1977 and the great class of 1974 to all that don't know me or all that do my name is Steve Knight came to crane tech after graduating from Tennyson upper grade junior high grew up in the MARRILAC HOUSE area that area is California and Jackson basically in high school I was quiet unless I was around you in the neighborhood growing up playing or against you I had a good time at crane their are a few things that I regret like not going to the prom because I Didn't know who to take between my friendship just strickly friends because of my shyness also I never display my talent scholasticlly or the athlete I PORTAYED OUTSIDE CRANE BUT OVER ALL HAD A GOOD TIME I will display some photos soon of me and lovely wife of soon to be 21 years and kids thanks for the request I always wanted to be a couselor when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a o'kay idea. As it turns out, they were right. I fell out of big cherry tree collecting cherries from after getting permission from MRS WILSON the branch I was on looked strong but after I told my friend Lynn Robinson to clime up here on the branch I was on that the chrrries was good and sweet I didn't know that the banch would break with both of us on the same branch all of a sutton you could hear the branch begin to break so I told Lynn that we both had to get off that branch so I waited for Lynn to get off first because he was behind me and I was real...Expand for more
ly up there wear I'could reach I felt the best reachable cherries on that tree but after Lynn got down from the branch that became weak with his bag of cherries now it was my turn to get off that branch with them sweet dark red cherries and my bag was half fuull the last thing I remember that the branch was really cracking when I look up I was getting up off the dirt yard next to big cherrie tree with my bag next to me with branch scratches all over me by the grace of God I was not hurt and if Ih''d went down less then two feet left of that fall I'would not be here to tell this story only Lynn Robinson and another former cougar classmate Carl Bradford would've told what happen because the spear metal fence was there and that concrete walkway and MRS WILSON giant german sherpard was in that part of the yard now this was around six thirty in the morning during the summer 1968 the end of this true story I was able to walk away with them scratches and bruises and the hurt and embaramest that I bought upon myself from that fall and still ate my cherries and of course that cherrie was never the same because that big cherrie tree end up dying in a couple years later MRS Wilson found and saw the evidence and said to me and my mother that she glad I wasnot physically hurt and said yes I gave him permission but she thought I'would do that latter on that morning not that and also said by the grace of God it turn out the way it did that's the day I unintentionly kill that only and beautiful cherrie tree.
