Steve's Story
After graduating from St. Anthony I went to Mater Dei for two years Then transferred to North for my junior and senior years. I felt Mater Dei had nothing to offer that I was interested in. I took auto mechanics and welding at North. At that time I wanted to be an auto mechanic.

When I was discharged I went to work at SIGECO now Vectren. I found out electricity paid much better than working on cars. I served a four year apprenticeship and became a journeyman lineman..
In 1974 I married my wife of soon to be 47 years. She is also a graduate of St. Anthony, the of '68, Rita Berfanger.
We have three children, 2 girls, 1 boy. We have two grandchildren.
Life has been good to me. I thank God for giving me what I have today
