Steve's Story
Life
I attended General Motors Institute from 73 to 78 and moved to Okla City in 1979 with GM as the new assembly plant there began operations. Living in Oklahoma though inticed me into the Oil Industry for about three years until I moved to Arlington, TX in 1986. There I went into Aerospace and heavy truck manufacturing. I married Leesa in 1988 and we have two children. Leesa is VP in sales for an advanced driver training company here in Arlington. I returned to the auto industry again, this time working for Japanese and German suppliers where we were fortunate to meet some great people that have been close friends now for many years. S Manager for a metal fabrication company in Fort Worth. Unfortunately, they did not weather the effects of 9/11 very well so I had to move on again. During that time though, I became a grandfather and now have three wonderful grandsons and a grand daughter. Leesa and Chris have kept me in line with both having earned their black belts in Tae Kwon Do, and now Leesa is earning one in Tang Soo do as well. I have been back in the more structured IT world as MIS Manager for Chandler Signs in Dallas since 2004 and enjoy working with the company very much. With our son off to the Navy this year, it's now time to focus on that long list of honey do's! It's always great to hear what's going on with fellow Tigers, Spartans, and Bulldogs!
