Steven's Story
Life
After graduating from the University of Washington with a math degree, I earned a commission in the U.S. Air Force, where I served eight years (3 1/2 inside NORAD [Cheyenne Mountain] and 4 1/2 at the Consolidated Space Operations Center East of Colorado Springs. Since then, I completed a five-year internship with the U.S. Naval Observatory working...Expand for more
with atomic freqeuncy standards, and then returned, in 2001, to working on the Global Positioning System (GPS) as a civilian. I love my home and view in Colorado Springs, I love the climate and the hiking opportunities. I love to tinker with front-wheel-drive Chryslers. I truly can't find any good reason to complain about life--I've been very blessed!
