Life
hello to all. it's a been a long road since THS an the class of 68. i've had ups and downs. i spent a number of years in the army, the california army national guard, and army reserve. i served during the viet nam era, thought that i was going to nam, but went to korea instead. lived in a number of different states and served in several countries aboard. served in desert sheild and desert storm. for a time i was reserve police officer back home. worked in a number of different jobs. some of these jobs i enjoyed and others not so much but one has to earn a living. currently i am living in colorado, can see pikes peak off in the distance from were i live (what a sight to see). i use to think that i was finally home when ever i flew into sfo. now its the site of pikes peak.

own kids, a couple of grandkids, and a couple of stepchildren and step grand kids, i guess life's been good so far.
now its a number of years later since i wrote that stuff above. still living in colorado, still working, currently in the correctional field. recently received my 20 year letter from uncle sam acknowledging all the years i served our country both active duty, national guard and reserves. i have another grandchild expectting him in july. last year in april my wife and i traveled back to hayward for a visit and oh so many changes. to many changes all at once to absorb but still it was home for me and many many fond memories that i shared with my wife of places that were once and always with me in my memories. any one thinking about coming to colorado?? ask me for advice if you like. lots of recomendations of places to see and things to do. best wishes to everyone.
