Steven's Story
Life
I grew up in San Jose CA, completed high school in Gilroy and Graduated from UCSC with a degree in Music Composition and Theory. After returning to UC for graduate school, I realized there really wasn't any job prospects for a mediocre 20th Century composer. I met my wonderful wife Marlena and followed her to DC where she went to Howard University's School of Medicine. I had a strong interest in science and joined Georgetown University's Division of Clinical Pharmacology as a research ass...Expand for more
ociate. I guess I figured drugs and music go hand in hand, so why not do it professionally. I then returned to California and was admitted to UCSF's School of Pharmacy where I received my Doctorate in Pharmacy with an emphasis in clinical research.
I currently live in San Francisco with my wife of over 11 years and work as an investigational pediatric pharmacist in a local pediatric hospital. We have two children Miranda (4) and Malcolm (2).
