Sue's Story
I went back to public school for High School - big mistake! Parochial school was much better for me. I stopped going to church for a long time. Got a BFA in Art History at University of IL, CU, pledged Delta Zeta sorority, then worked a couple years in commercial art in Champaign and Urbana till I was accepted into UCLA Film School. I moved to Los Angeles in 1989 and lived at the university cooperative with 427 international students. On Thursday night, I cooked a vegetarian dinner for all of them! I reconnected with the church before I left IL and continued that practice till 2004 when I converted to Hinduism (surprisingly smooth progression from Catholicism.)
My first job in animation was at The Simpsons. I stayed for 7 seasons but got a better offer from Rugrats. I assistant directed at Dilbert, did some time at The Oblongs, Mission Hill, Dragon ...Expand for more
Tales, and King of the Hill. Now I work at Fox Mobile where we make cartoons for cell phones.
I am getting a divorce now (don't mess with Texas, seriously, don't.) I have been in the same apartment in Hollywood for about 17 years. I have been scuba diving for almost 10 years now and am working on becoming an assistant instructor. I have many small pets, including 2 lizards, a tortoise, a couple pigeons, and some rats.
It would be terrific to find some old friends here, particularly Andrea Acciavati, Anthony Ellington, Tony Sexton, Tim Hiembold, Kathy Hart, and anyone else who may remember me.
On St. Patrick's Day, we did not have to do any work. We got popcorn and chocolate milk, and we watched movies about Ireland in the lunchroom.
