Sue's Story
My family and I have been living in Georgia since 1978. I am a software engineer at McKesson Corporation, where I have worked since 1994.
My husband Ken and I were married in 1973 in Menomonie, Wisconsin, where we both attended UW-Stout. In 2006, we moved from Atlanta to our farm in the North Georgia mountains, where we run a small horse sanctuary.
I am the CIO for a 501c3 horse rescue and also work to rescue dogs and cats. Our property, located in the middle of the Chattahoochee National Forest, is verified by the Global Foundation of Animal Sanctuaries.

n children; Christie, married in 2011, who works with Catholic Social Services to assist refugee families, and a son who is a Planner with the Georgia DOT. The light of my life is my granddaughter, Cyanna, born in 2003.
I attribute a great deal of my drive, ethics and social conscience to the Franciscan sisters at St. Mary's Academy in Milwaukee, and continue to support them in their global and local peace efforts.
