Susan's Story
Life
In high school, I was known as Janelle. I am married and living in Garland, Texas. Our oldest daughter graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in December, 2001. She is teaching English in Japan. Our son graduated in April, 2005, from the same university. He attended school on an ROTC scholarship and is now a second lieutenant in the Air Force. He is currently stationed in Missouri, but we know there is a good chance he will be deployed out of the country in the near future. sity this year. She got engaged back in September to a young man who is in the Army. He is currently in training and is scheduled to leave for Iraq in March or April. For all of you past band members, all three of my children have participated in band from middle school through high school. Our two daughters have also been part of the band program while attending college. Getting to watch them has brought back a lot of great memories. This is my eleventh year as a teacher. I teach ESL to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders in Garland and am really enjoying my job.
