Susan's Story
I married my best friend. We met via his Mom at the doctor's offcie we both worked for. I had stopped dating for 3 or 4 years and devoted my time to volunteering for Ronald McDonald House and my church's youth group. Hey, why not do something other than look for some guy to walk into my life...I decided to wait on God to make the move. And, He brought Justin into my life in 2004. Today, in 2008, we have our first child, Jacob, who will tun 1 in April, and have three fantastic dogs. We live in DFW and enjoy the city life. Justin and I enjoy bass fising, running, and playing football together.
I studied Public Realtions and Journalism in college. I love planning events, writing about those events, and getting the media and donors to those events. ...Expand for more
I think I do a pretty good job working with the media and public.
I was preparing to take the LSAT and head to Law school in 2001, after completing my bachelors, but decided to change my life and my future. I knew I would be good as a lawyer, but did not want to sacrifice having children and a family someday. So, today, I am looking at completing the Masters degree I began in 2002. I just need to figure out what I want to study!!!!
Also, I have had the great opportunity to travel to Taiwan to meet new friends and share Jesus with them. That was fantastic to meet people, communicate (a little) in Chinese with my new friends, and still talk to them via email and when they visit the USA.
