Susan's Story
Life
Holy Mackerel ... 1954 seems like yesterday and yet eons ago. As some of you might recall, It was the year that I married the man of my dreams ... forty-eight years later I lost him to cancer.
During those years we traveled, thanks to the USAF, all over the world. He was a Navigator with Military Air Transport Service ... No transport jets at that time, only the old propeller planes ... As a result the trips were long, the crew time at home short, not so short that we didn't have ...Expand for more
time for procreation ... 5 great kids ... all college grads, 3 with Ph.D.'s, 2 with M.D.'s ... Physics, Theology, Pedagogy, Neurosurgery, Obstetrics.
Me? I have taught music for over forty years ... piano, guitar, violin and voice. Am the grandmother of three teenage girls, 16, 15, 14. They are the delight of my life. I have the good fortune of having them reasonably close-by and we have wonderful times together.
