My oldest, a daughter has Autism. My middle son is the father of my grandchildren and my youngest son is in the US Army. I am an RN by trade, but haven't worked in the nursing field in 20 years. I now work with individuals who have developmental disabilities and/or mental health issues and receive funding through state medicaid for day and/or residential supports, by advocating and overseeing their services. I guess you can say I have years of on the job training with my daughter.".
