Susan's Story
Life
Hi, all! It has been a long time. I have had a busy and happy life, for the most part. I am married to David Heeg, the love of my life. I have two stepsons, who ARE sons to me. David Jr. is married with four children...our grandchildren, and Jason is also married with two children... more grandchildren. Jason lives within walking distance and David just 20 minutes away, so we are blessed with love around us. I was a teacher for 34 years, teaching 2nd or 3rd grade, LD, or children with behavior disorders. I finished my career teaching 3rd grade in Naperville, Illinois. 1943-1945, I collected WWII artifacts and gave presentations to schools, libraries, veterans' groups, senior living facilities, etc. Now, I am offering free WWII information videos with my artifacts on my website. I have written a new Christian book which was just published and is most easily accessed on Amazon.com under Susan Heeg. The book is called God's Song in Your Soul: Keys to Finding Joy in the Midst of Difficulties. It includes my own journey but much more about how God got me through my life. I'm so excited! I give thanks to God for all of my blessings and for all of you who have influenced my life in one way or another. I hope you are all happy.
