Susan's Story
Life?
Sex, drugs & rock-n-roll, baby!!! OK, so that was the 80's/90's (I think?...)
(All I know is that I look back on my senior pic & my motto was - apparently - "It's better to burn out then fade away"...)
Now: I am married, but still have my last name b/c I didn't get around to changing it - that was 10 years ago (holy crap, I better get on that). I live in Lighthouse Point, FL - its a little waterfront city between Boca Raton & Ft. Liquordale. My husband's name is Michael. He's a dual Bahamian/American citizen & he's funny, outgoing, charming & cute - and very driven. We live in a house on the intracoastal waterway. We have a few jetski's, but no boat yet - no time for it right now. We have -0- kids, but I guess I'm no spring chicken anymore - keep forgetting that part, so (?).
I work as a CPA for the federal govt. I have a Master's degree in Accounting. I graduated at top of the class, too - was quite proud of myself since "I'm not going to college - college is for NERDS & DORKS!" . My husband is an entrepreneur so I help him w/his biz's, too. But, hey, I manage to fit it all in with a little party time, too.. (Although I must say that my definition of "partying" has changed DRASTICALLY!)
Stress & snowboarding (this was 2007) - the 2 most dangerous things to your health (in my opinion!). I just had my 3rd surgery in 5 years & may need more - woo-hoo! can't wait! Ahhh - such as life. Hospitals seem to like me... But, hey: who really wants to go to their grave HEALTHY anyway?! It's not like you actually win anything for being the "healthiest dead person"! UPDATE (2011): Had 6 MORE back surgeries in 201...Expand for more
0 alone! Mostly from snowboarding; pain aint no fun! No more heliboarding for me - guess we are getting a little older now (this BITES)
Just a couple of words of advice: YOU GOTTA KNOW SOMEONE UPSTAIRS!!!! God makes life a LOT easier to handle... (especially when you had 8 surgeries in 8 years...). I'm a Reiki Master now (as a hobby at this point), so TOTALLY into spirituality & energy healing. (what do you want me to say?- I laid in bed for 3 years!) Peace out sista/brotha!
I absolutely LOVE Florida! No more winters!!! And, summer is hot but there's a lot of times that it's actually cooler than MD, so it's not that bad - 2 months of heat. It's usually 90-92 degrees everyday in summer & 78-80 degrees every day in winter (if you can call it that) with a nice breeze all year. It's just beautimus with the gorgeous palm trees, tropical flowers, flowering trees, and it's just green, green, green and colorful, sunny & warm all year 'round. And the beach is awesome all the time, anywhere you go.
LOVE adventure - sky-diving, volcanoes, heliboarding (oops, not that one anymore). Next vacation it is going to be an African Safari with camping in the African wilderness for 16 days & meeting with some tribal chiefs... totally can't wait!
So, that's "My Bio". I'm not about to fill out every category, so don't look at anything else - this is it - my life in 4291 characters...cool. Hope everyone is doing well! C-ya at the "20"! (which, hopefully, won't come too soon... we'll officially be "old" -bummer!). UPDATE (2011): HOLY S*%T we're OLD NOW! ;-( (it didnt let me save it when I used the real word... yes, of COURSE i tried!)
