Susan K.'s Story
I am now retired, and enjoying life with my husband in Southern California. I attended Tabor grade school and Fremont-Mills High School in Tabor, Iowa, class of '65, then the U of Nebraska at Lincoln, Nebraska and the U of Missouri at Kansas City, Mo, graduating with a BA in education. I changed locations, directions, careers and husbands, ending up writing computer technical manuals for companies in Santa Barbara, California. I am very involved in church activities. garden, play music, investigate my family history, and travel to visit my husband's kids, grand kids and great-grand kids!
I enjoy reading mysteries, adventure, sci-fi and travel books. My favorite authors include Diana Gabaldon, Michael Crichton, Martin Walker, Louise Penny.
Since retiring, I am learning to play the violin/fiddle; music I like includes old time Country, classical, pop, swing and easy listening.
